Standard H-Sphere installation would include two accounts,
neither of which may be deleted:
- the admin account (login: admin, password: admin)
to configure system settings. It is very highly recommended to
change the password of the admin account after the installation
and testing have been completed.
- the wwwuser account to manage the control panel domain, which
is also used by the other servers of the system.
After the installation, the control panel becomes accessible at
the address:
http://your_ip_address:8080 or
http://cp.your_domain_name:8080
If your H-Sphere has been configured with SSL protection, use the
addresses:
http://your_ip_address:8443 or
http://cp.your_domain_name:8443
If your H-Sphere has been configured to use SSL protection,
you cannot use it without SSL.
Some H-Sphere features (like webmail, FileManager, HTProtect, MyPHPAdmin)
require H-Sphere DNS configuration and won't work correctly without it.
To check these features without it, you should specify in your
workstation DNS configuration that the H-Sphere server is your primary DNS server.
If you have additional IP(s) on the server, the DNS service can be
configured to use two IPs, they will be named, for instance, ns1 and ns2.
In this case, you'll be able to use the OpenSRS feature
(at least two DNS servers are required).
But if you have two dns servers on one box and want to add a new DNS server,
your DNS services need to be fully reconfigured. In this case two DNS IPs
on one server can't be used.
The H-Sphere Control Panel requires the postgresql
daemon running, don't try to start H-Sphere CP without it.
